Honestly: science doesn't confirm a link between the Moon and your hair — it's a tradition. But it's a coherent one, and if you're going to pick a day for your haircut anyway, it makes more sense to pick it by the real sky than by a recopied chart. If you want hair to grow back faster — cut on a waxing moon: length returns with more momentum. If the goal is keeping the cut's shape longer and strengthening the roots, choose the waning moon. That's the tradition's central and most practical principle.

Which days should I avoid for a haircut?

By tradition — when the Moon passes through Cancer or Pisces: hair is believed to come out weak and unruly. Plus four hard lunar days each month (the 9th, 15th, 23rd and 29th lunar days) — worth skipping for both cuts and coloring. All of them are flagged in the table.
